The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others.

We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully human at the same time, who became a man in order to bring us salvation.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is active in the world today showing us our sin, bringing the new birth to those who repent, making believers holy, and guiding into all truth as it is in Jesus.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God.
We believe everyone is born into sin, needing the Savior, and that everyone has chosen to sin against God by rebellion and disobedience, therefore everyone needs God's forgiveness and cleansing and the salvation is offered to everyone through Christ.
We believe God enables us to turn from sin, but does not force us to do so. Each person must repent, turn away from sin, and trust Christ.
We believe that when we turn to Christ, all our past sins are erased and we are adopted into God's family. After this, we need the complete control of the Holy Spirit in our lives, who enables the believer to live a consistent Christian life.
We believe the Church Universal is made up of all persons whose sins have been forgiven and that all believers need the church's support and fellowship.
We believe baptism and the Lord's Supper are gifts from Christ that honor Him and nourish us.
We believe in God's healing power.
We believe Jesus Christ is coming again.

We are united with all believers in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We believe that in divine love God offers to all people forgiveness of sins and restored relationship. In being reconciled to God, we believe that we are also to be reconciled to one another, loving each other as we have been loved by God and forgiving each other as we have been forgiven by God. We believe that our life together is to exemplify the character of Christ. We look to Scripture as the primary source of spiritual truth confirmed by reason, tradition, and experience.
Christian discipleship is a way of life. It is the process of learning how God would have us live in the world. As we learn to live in obedience to the Word of God, in submission to the disciplines of the faith, and in accountability to one another, we begin to understand the true joy of the disciplined life and the Christian meaning of freedom. Discipleship is not merely human effort, submitting to rules and regulations. It is the means through which the Holy Spirit gradually brings us to maturity in Christ. It is through discipleship that we become people of Christian character. The ultimate goal of discipleship is to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18).
We are a Great Commission church (Matthew 28:19-20). As a global community of faith, we are commissioned to take the Good News of life in Jesus Christ to people everywhere and to spread the message of the gospel throughout our families and across the lands.
“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”
—John Wesley
The Church House is in Lookout Valley!
2020 was a year of blessing in the midst of chaos. We were blessed to merge The Church House family with the family of Lookout Valley Church of the Nazarene.
We are at the heart of the Lookout Valley community, building the Kingdom of God, and making disciples for Jesus Christ.
Join us on Sundays at 136 S. Aster Avenue in Chattanooga, TN.
Please continue to pray for a great revival in our land and for our leadership as we walk out God's calling in the life of our church.

The Church House has been an amazing blessing to my family. From the very beginning, in March 2018, the culture of the church has been ALL about family. My wife Rhea and five children are a vital part of the ministry and enjoy serving our church and community. God called me later in life and I continue to work a full-time job in the transportation industry. This gives me continued opportunities to serve others and share encouragement on a daily basis to many outside the church. My passion is to help others pursue a deeper walk with Jesus Christ and help young people know what they truly believe. I am a native of Chattanooga, TN and love our community. I am blessed to be the pastor of The Church House.

Each Wednesday night at 7pm, The Church House offers discipleship classes for all ages.
Adults meet each week in the sanctuary. Terry Bolden is currently leading a study through Paul's letter to the Colossians.
Pastor Jacob and Rhea are currently leading a young adult study through Why believe? Answering the Hard Questions about God and Life.
Robin Ridgeway is currently working through the Bible with our children and helping them understand why we can trust it.
We launched The Church House on March 3, 2019.
The mission of The Church House is to equip followers of Jesus Christ through the influence of family and community. Our belief is that the family unit is the best place to establish the foundation for the Christian life. The church is here to equip each family to carry out that mission at home.
